Set the logon screen wallpaper with a GPO
Is it possible to set the wallpaper for the login screen with the GPO? even if i need a script to do it i dont mind, ideally i would like it to use "//server/wallpapers/pc.html" but from what ive read it looks like i may need to use a .bmp but thats fine.
anyone got this working?

ive written a program on my fedora server that at 1am every day re creates the .html files with todays date and adds any new users i put in the array. t works brilliantly for the users when they login they get a nice wallpaper with todays date on etc.... but id like the same wallpaper without any of the user specific stuff (school name and date) to be applied to the domain login screen

yes you can but you will have to make a ADM file with the right regkey in it.
or apply regkey with VBS @ logon with a generic share //server/bacground$ and name to BG.bmp
