I've looked everywhere but all the guides seem to make it simple!

I can access imap internally but I cant get it to work externally, I ve asked the LEA to open 993/ 143 and they said they have, when I try to connect it says it cant connect to the server. Now I took over from someone else so could i have a wierd setting internally? or i there a way to test if the LEA have opened the above ports?

Also Imap enabled for user, any suggestions?
