I have it pre setup by RM but im bumping into some issues of drives needing swapping when im not there etc and im not overly familiar with it to make ammendments.
I have 3x 300Gb Tandberg Drives and roughly 150Gb of data to back up, I also have 2Tb NAS drive which is being backed up to fine.
I need a simple way of getting reliable backups using the 3 drives bearing in mind im only in the school 2.5 days a week.
Maybe a weekly full backup on a sunday then daily incremental to the same drive then repeating on the other drives subsequent weeks?
Thanks
Chris

30th September 2009, 11:28 AM #2 Do you have access to the RM support site? There's a very helpful setup guide on there for BackupExec.
If not, what exact changes do you want to make and how is it setup at the moment? (What backups do you take currently)
Is there anybody in school who could perhaps change the tapes? A daily backup would be a better solution I think?

Someone could change the disk but I would rather remove that from the quation at the moment as I also have a second backup sort of off site.
