Hi,
I wonder if someone has an idea about this.
Basically, I'm after an application or tool that will monitor the Event Logs on my Windows Servers (2003 and 2008), collate all error and non-error logs into a single view such that I can see them all within this application instead of looking through all my servers individually.
Thanks in advance.

7th September 2009, 10:05 AM #2 You need to install a 'syslog' server and then run agents on your individual servers so that all the events get forwarded to that server.
There's loads of Windows syslog servers and agents out there to pick from.

7th September 2009, 01:59 PM #4 Just had a look at SNARE for Windows: http://www.intersectalliance.com/pro...ows/events.png
The quote for the entry level server supporting upto 50 agents came up to £7k ish (£6k ish for the licence and £1k ish for the annual licence).
Can't seem to get hold of a freeware that does this.
