SOLVED - WDS - Error injecting Drivers....
After struggling to get WDS to work creating a image last week i've now come across another problem!
I'm trying to inject drivers into a boot image (.wim) and i'm getting the following error:
Installing INF package: C:\Temp\Drivers\SiSGbe.inf
PEIMG failed to complete the operation with status code 0x800703fb.
It seems like it will let me inject x64 drivers but not 32bit.... all 32 bit drivers fail, all 64 bit drivers go in ok.
I did manage to get them inserted into the capture image but can't work out why they won't work for this one.
I'm using the boot.wim file from a Windows Vista cd, and the F1_WINPE.WIM and F3_WINPE.WIM bootable files from the AIK.
It's the boot.wim that is causing problems.....
Any advice would be brilliant!

Is the boot image x64 or x86?
You can not put x86 drivers into a x64 image and vice versa.

i'm downloading another copy of vista (don't have one handy...) to try a new boot.wim file at the moment...
EDIT: Found one, but still does the same.

This isn't the right image.
You're looking for the one with the filename
6001.18000.080118-1840-kb3aikl_en.iso
It should be located
here. Despite being for "Vista SP1 and Server 2008" it works fine on Server 2003.
Just found this post and am downloading the correct AIK.... hopefully that will fix it. I assumed (MISTAKE!!!!) that i had downloaded the latest version but now realised i've been using v1.0...
*Fingers crossed!*
