Allowing VB.net exe files to run
Our school is running an introductory programming course for 6th form students at the moment. The application of choice is VB.net Express.
The students are having problems running their saved work because when they save the VB project it is saves as an exe file. I have placed software restriction policies on all student accounts via GPO that prevents the running of all these types of files for obvious reasons.
To get around the problem I was going to create additional user accounts just for the students that are taking the course and creating a seperate GPO for these students and also applying a time restriction for the use of these accounts. Would everyone agree that this is the way to go or is there another easier alternative?
