Creating two static IPs for phone system

    Hi all,

Ive tried googling it but I cant seem to find out how to create static IPs for a phone system. All i seem to find is how to create the server IP as static.

Basically we have a new phone system that requires two static IPs.

How do I go about doing this? Would reserving it work the same?

A static ip is something that is set on the device itself so you could do that.

Alternative a mac address based reservation will always hand out the same ip to that mac address i.e piece of equipment.

Amen to the mac addressed reservation system...

This is what we do to define filtering policies to specific BYOD items and printers and access points...
