I hate and detest the Microsoft clipart organiser. As far as I'm concerned, by far the easiest way to get hold of a clipart picture is by a Google image search for whatever it is you want followed by the word "clipart". But people here have been pestering me to get the Microsoft clipart thing working for a while now; results seem to be all over the place on individual machines, so here we go...*sigh*
I've been trying to follow the instructions at:
How to share Clip Organizer clips among people who have access to the same network
...to create a new centralised clipart suppository, based on the Office 2003 one, somewhere on the network for all clients to look at.
Basically this outlines creating a new blank collection, copying the clipart files into it, editing the keywords etc. But in my case, I want to make the standard collection available, which is keyworded already. And at the bit where I'm dragging the existing contents of:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\CLIPART
...into a new blank collection, this info gets lost.
I'm at Step 3 No. 7. I'm confused. And annoyed. Help!
