Well i have just took over a new primary school,im looking after about 10 primary schools now. This primary school has lots of equipment but are not using it. for a example there have a 2TB NAS stored in the cupboard and also a server with 2003 R2. Im looking to get this equipment used.
What i was wondering is could i make the staff and students new profiles and then store the profiles on the NAS Drive? There would be Roaming Profiles, i would would do Mandatory Profiles but i don't have alot of time on my hands.
What would you recommend i do with the other server?
Yes, you can make the 2003 R2 server a file server and connect the NAS device trought iSCSI and use the space for Roaming Profiles and files shares; since you have the space.
