Thanks for the heads up. Hadn't used my SkyDrive account in a long long time. I just went in and reset it so that I stay at 25GB instead of the 7GB. Plus, now that you can upload a file that is 2GB in size, I'll definitely be using this more instead of my Dropbox (not that I'd get rid of my drop box though either)...always nice having extra space in the cloud...

Probably not a bad thing knowing how much teachers abuse copyright, MS search and delete your files:

Can anyone remember last time MS released an application for a linux based system?

I know they made some kernel contributions, with some obligatory sexist 'boobs' in the comments - but I don't recall an actual app (skype doesn't count, it was released before the acquisition).

There's OneNote Mobile (released earlier this year), a Lync 2010 client, Bing and on{X}.

For UNIX-based operating system's made by Apple there is Office 2011, and other Linux'y stuff can be found on their Port 25 website.

SmartOffice is good too. You could also use a real copy of Microsoft Office remotely via CloudOn, SplashTop, PocketCloud or VMware WSX (included with Workstation 9).

Even more off-topic, why does Google prevent me from buying the tablet version of QuickOffice? So annoying (especially considering they now own the app)!
