Expression Encoder 4 works fine with the Windows 8 CP, although the free version has a 10 minute screen capture limit.

Not specifically, but mentioning CamStudio infers that Rabbie is looking for software that captures the screen to a video instead of static image files.

    I might be wrong however.

How about Windows Media Encoder? It's an oldy but should work, microsoft has replaced it with expression encoder but the old one still works if you can find it (Windows Media Encoder - Download.com)
