Wow been using it for 10mins and absolutley hate it already.

Using desktop apps is a complete pain, feels far worse than windows 7.

Just switching apps seems like a massive process.

Basically its a tablet OS that looks about 60% finished and they seem to have totally ignored the desktop corporate/education user.

I wonder if I will change my mind over time?

EDIT: To be fair the upgraded version of solitaire is quite cool

GAAAAAH 95% AND FIREFOX CRASHES. AND THE SERVERS DON'T SUPPORT RESUME.

One of the many reasons I despise Firefox's faster release schedule is that I've seen a LOT more crashes, starting with version 5. I'd dump Firefox tomorrow if IE or Chrome had sidebars.

I've dropped from a steady 350-400 kBps to 70! My guess is the US mid-west and west coast have started to join in the download frenzy. Looks like I'll be leaving the office PC on tonight!

I can see what others saying about it being a terriable desktop OS and I agree - but on a tablet I think this is going to tick all the boxes

If its possible to turn off Metro (as it was in the dev preview) then I will be happy though!
