Windows 8 Thread, Reccomend me a decent browser! in Technical; I use Comodo Dragon. It's an offshoot of Chrome but it seems to be pretty responsive for my needs....

    It was popular here for a bit until I realised it essentially was chrome... It came packaged as the way to access a bit of software and we installed it... Mainly it was popular because it allowed access to all sorts of things by circumventing group policy for chrome. I uninstalled it after about 2 days and remade the shortcut to use chrome!

    Epic Browser is also based on Chromium, but you probably wouldn't want to let students use it.

    Ah the browser wars. I’ve used Firefox for years with no plans to switch. I like chrome and it is my preferred browser for the school as we are GAFE school. However firefox and IE are the only browsers with some adons I need. Given that choice I chose Firefox.
    I biggest complaint about it is the memory usage, but that blog post summed it well.
    Yes I briefly used that MSN browser, mainly because it was something different.
