Teamsepak 3 Server Refuses to load on boot

I'm sick to the teeth with this. I have a media centre running Windows 8.1and I run a private TS3 server on it. No matter what I try, I cannot get the TS3 server to load automatically on startup. I've tried adding it to the All Users 'startup' folder with highest privileges, I've created a scheduled task to run at login (again with highest privileges), I've looked at permissions, disabled UAC, all to no avail. If I manually double click the TS3 server exe, it loads up quite happily and will run until I reboot, then I have to manually load it up again. I've done a fair amount of Googleing but can't find anyone with the same issue. Error logs are blank, event log has nothing. Any suggestions?

Regarding the scheduled task, make sure you set it manually to use your specific logged on account with elevated. I think without that it runs as Administrator/system rather then the user who logged in.

No joy. The TS icon flashes up in the system tray for a second then vanishes. No log files that I can find anywhere to indicate whats going on!
