    Found a better way now....

    Downgrade your PDC to Explorer 9 and GPO from there, maintenance is back, yay

    Just today found that the XML hack to make it possible to administer GPP for IE10 on Server 2008 R2 also works fine for IE11, so we can stick with this for a while.

    How to do it? It's nice and easy. Create the GPO and build the GPP for Internet Options within it. Now browse to the Policies folder in your sysvol, and open the relevant one (you can find the ID for it in Group Policy Management). Browse in Explorer to User\Preferences\Internet Options and open the xml file within. Change the max=9.0.0.0 setting to max=99.0.0.0. Save it, job done.
