    Microsoft Surface - SIMS

    Hi

    Can the Microsoft Surface run SIMS?? If so - do you install it like you would any computer?? or do you need specific app or software??

    The Surface Pro can as it is just a standard PC. Surface RT on the other hand will never be able to run SIMS.net unless Capita make a web-based alternative (SLG doesn't count ).

    Which Version of the Surface?

    If it is the RT version (I.e arm based one) then no it wouldn't - the Pro version should.

    SIMS isnt supported on Windows 8 yet. Although it isnt support it might still work.

    I'm currently running SIMS on a Windows 8 Machine (Enterprise) and I would love to say its completely bug free, but no- it's not.

    There are a few funny issues when updating SIMS on a Windows 8 Machine, If i had to rely on it 100% - I wouldn't.

    Have it running as a remote App through HAP+ on my surface RT, but thats as close as you'll get.

    So I guess you could use the solutions provided on any tablet platform and save money?
