Sophos Icon Change?
Hi folks,
Anyone using Sophos?
We spotted the icon in the notification area changed yesterday afternoon. This morning all the client icons seem to have changed.
I remember mention of a major update in July/August, but coincidentally our new license starts from tomorrow as well.
In short, has the icon change happened for anyone else?
TIA

Yeah it’s now a shield with an S in it now, rather than the old blue shield with 3 lines in it. Been like it for us since early June/ July. Unless they have updated it again.
-
I'm fairly new to Sophos, but a colleague said this was the old icon, hence the concern - we also now have a white shield with blue trim and a blue "S".
Ours used to be the three line icon, until yesterday afternoon.
I remember them sending a vague email about a forced update that would take place in July, or around then at least.

This has been in place quite a while now I believe, I miss the old red lightning bolt before the blue shield.

On the Sophos topic, how do I edit a policy in the console? I'm sure they used to appear below the groups on the bottom left-hand side, when in endpoint view. But they aren't there any more, and I can't spot any way of viewing them. Ugh.

it's still in the bottom left on mine, maybe you have just hidden one of the menu's by accident

This is how we see our Sohpos policies [in the left hand side as you describe]

We noticed this. Seems theyve forced out an update to the cilents to V10.

Thanks guys. You can essentially hide policies by dragging the dividing bar right down.

I can confirm, they've updated Sophos 9.x (blue shield) to Sophos 10.x (white shield).
Does anyone have a 10.x removal script, as I have a handful of workstations which upgrade correctly, but then do not report back to the Enterprise Console. New version, same old problems! This typically is down to missing registry entries.

Yes mine has automatically updated as well.

Yeah automatically updated - Crashes RPC service - no users can login to terminal server - the users already on are working fine - How annoying!
