Having a bit of a nightmare with Win7 & its GPO's. So was hoping you might be able to help! Basically each of our users has a home drive mapped as H:, which I need to make available offline so when they take their laptop home they can still access and work on the documents. I have managed to enable cached credentials, so they can logon at home, but when their desktop loads it errors saying the drive and their desktop is not available. Any ideas would me hugely appreciated!

Have you set offline files to cache the drives?
have you redirected the desktop to a location that supports offline files?
Ok this is going to sound STUPID, but where are the settings to do this? The Win 7 GPO's are dramatically different from the XP ones which i'm used to looking atQuote:

First off :) if your clients are "Windows 7" then weather you use folder redirection or standard profile synchronisation, offline files is supported. By default, credential caching is on, so it should work out the box. Guide above is so useful, thx @strawberry for that, it goes on my list of usefull Technet :)
Also just as a random bit of info, i have played with branch cache, those of you on "Multi Campus" nets may wanna take a look, it works pretty well and i'm sure pleasent on your lease lines :D
I have tried all of th above and the Sync works on my laptop however it wont work when I log into other laptops, despite havgin exactly the sam GPO's aplied to it :S This is now causing me a major headache! :( Any one have any ideas?
Hums... i know this is silly, but it is updating GPO changes proerly. What does a gpupdate say ?
Yeh any changes I make in the GPO's are reflected, just sync'ing doesnt seem to work :| But the fact it works on 1 machine confuses me.
Well it will take about 2 hours for gpo updates to get deceminated to the whole domain with standard replication times. When you are at the clients command prompt and do a gpupdate, do you get any User or Client GPO errors ?
The GPO's have been configured for the past week, as I allowed for replication time.. When I do a gpupdate I dont receive any errors.
