Seems my google powers are failing this morning, i seem to be stuck with a "single click" style to files and folders, single clicking opens them, the only GPO i can find is "force windows classic shell" which contains something about single click, but enabling it doesn't seem to disable the single click opening of files and folders
What am i doing wrong here?
Seems i have found the fix to the desktop wallpaper issue, applying the desktop wallpaper GPO and then disabling it with the two active desktop policys set to "not configured"
And the desktop wallpaper appears
would you mind taking a screenshot to show us how you did it?
I can do a bit later on but for now i can suggest this:

As an alternative to this, you can create the registry key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WallPaper] This is missing by default, but creating it enables your policy to work.

Anyone else having problems with copying to USB devices on Win7?
Every time I try to copy a larg-ish file (e.g. a film or tv show) to a USB stick, ext. HDD etc., it copies the first half increidably fast, then disconnects the device, and every other USB device, apart from the keyboard and mouse. The only way to revive it after this happens is to re-start the PC.
Anyone got any suggestions? It's doing my head in
