Windows Live Movie Maker under Windows 7
As title, we're experimenting with the Windows Live version of Movie Maker because Microsoft saw fit to remove it from Windows 7 and we have a number of lesson plans that incorporate it.
Although Movie Maker itself seems to work fine, it stubbornly refuses to add content from a network location.
That's going to be a big problem for us, and many other schools I suspect - we don't just give students or staff access to the local disk or a writable desktop folder to dump stuff into - can anyone else confirm this failure to add from a network location is indeed normal behaviour for the new version of Movie Maker and not just me having a moment? :D
