Awesome! Downloading as I type this...
Hmm - How do we stand with the Upgrade Version?
Thought it was not available for use in the EU
Noticed on MVLS a Big "I agree" checkbox about only using it in specific geo-graphical locations....
No signs of R2 on MVLS yet I take it?
Are schools getting ent edition or pro under schools agreement?
No, there is no 2K8 R2 yet.
Well we are an FE College and we have Pro not Enterprise on MVLS, the KMS key we have doesn't really specify which edition we can use.

Official answer for Windows Server 2008 R2 19 Aug for existing customers with Software Assurance (ie School Agreement) Windows Server Division WebLog : When to expect Windows Server 2008 R2 RTM
Think that's changed now that the 'E' editions have been cut, so presume Upgrade editions will be available in the UK. All part of this "pick your browser" feature MS are incorporating.
...until Opera say the only "fair" way is to force everyone to have to use their browser that it!!
Just checked and Windows 7 enterprise is now available under SA on MVLS :)
Found the MAK keys. I was been an idiot! Under "Product Keys" click "New MAK Keys"

Microsoft's bandwidth bill must be staggering. I've just downloaded all the Windows 7 related ISOs from TechNet which adds up to around 30GB. I'm sure I'm not the only person to have done this.
hmm... I can only see professional, I thought we was licensed for Enterprise (I have Vista enterprise in my list)
I'd want to deploy Enterprise for bitlocker to go, so I can finally enforce encryption on staff usb keys.
