Cheers, will have a look. Starting to get some nibbles from schools looking to upgrade at around the Christmas period and 7 is something I'm getting asked about more frequently.
That reminds me ... must get in touch with a certain secondary to see if they will do a short talk next Friday about their findings so far on the early adoption program ...

Edit: ACT (Application Compatibility Toolkit) looks fantastic, pointing out all apps and drivers etc along with pointing out incompatible hardware on any of your hosts with the agent installed along with scaning an installer directly to look for signs of trouble witout an install.
I can see a long list of incompatible edu apps though.

Using App compatibility shims you can set the resolution and colourdepth for certain apps automatticly with no extra scripting. These packages can actually be deployed to anything XP and above.
