deployment fails when deploying x86 to x64 win 7
We are looking to move staff laptops over to x64
I'm finding that some of our very old apps wont deploy with group policy. deploy to x84 is fine.
Is theer any think i can do about this as i suspect they wont be willing to loose them.

This'll be due to the app having 16bit processing, which x64 windows can't emulate.
Have you considered using XP mode to host the older apps? or look for newer equivilants?

You'd be better off having the xp vm as part of your imaging process I think - but I've not used it for a while myself. Someone else might have more info...
