For the Adobe products you request distribution rights from Adobe and they send you a link to the downloads.

Acrobat does require you use their tool to turn into and .MSI and .MSU.

Java is a case of downloading the .EXE version, unpacking and creating and .MST IIRC. Maybe this will help - I didn't read it so I'm not sure.

You can apply for the Adobe software distribution licence here:

    https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform...ion_form&pv=fp

Its a bit of a faff but you then have access to the latest MSI's easily.

Follow the instructions on the link below to obtain the java msi:

How do I deploy Java using Active Directory across a network?

You register with Adobe and the links they send you have entries for all the flavours of Flash including MSIs, I vaguely recall having to run the Adobe Reader installer and then find where is extracted the setup files to (%TEMP% then the most recently created folder) and then pulling out the .MSI file from there.

Are there any tweaks needed (MST) for the Shockwave packages? Anyone care to share any info?

No tweaks needed to deploy Shockwave/Flash/Reader. I just apply for the annual distribution licence, download the msi packages (extract in the case of Adobe reader) and deploy via group policy.

Adobe Reader, Flash Player and Others

Flash needs the auto update disabling, I believe, but wasn't sure about the others.
