    Default Directory to save into

    Win 7 Enterprise | Server 2008R2 |Office 14 - (2010)

    How can I get Office to automatically select the H:\ (User documents folder) as default? At the moment it is trying to save into C:\Windows\system32

    It should default to the documents library location unless you have disabled them.

    You can set the default save location to their home areas when you install the Office adm templates. I have done this for some users.

    You don't even need the Office 2010 templates, although I do install them as standard. Office 2010 should read the home directory you specify in Active Directory as the default, without needing to do anything else.
