Hotfixes for printer problems, group policy etx
Post-install customization does not start after you use Group Policy to configure a deployed printer in Windows Vista, in Windows 7, in Windows Server 2008, or in Windows Server 2008 R2 which gets you onto the LDR version of spoolsv.exe
Description of an update rollup for the printing core components in Windows 7 and in Windows Server 2008 R2 which updates the rest of the componants.
And of course the usual mob as documented here: Disabling Offline files Server 2008 & Win 7 pro (I don't believe that you need to disable offline files once you've got that lot installed)
I've got to say that I haven't had too many problems with printers - but that may be because I expect people to add their own. As ever test before rolling out on a large scale.
