Right, ok, so I'm busy setting up our Mac Mini Server and all that, and I figured I'd dump the old box in the corner that's serving up our Intranet Currently and actually make a bit more use of this box other than as a point to update iPads from ..
Now, I know that I could set up another site that doesn't need http authentication, but last time I did that, I seemed to mess up the server, so, instead I'm going down the route of "https can't be a bad thing" but I'm looking to add an exception for the intranet pages via GPO if possible, but I'm ripping my hair out a little trying to find the right setting.
We're on 2008R2 with Windows 7 Professional Clients, so it's just whether there is a way to do this, or whether I do just set up a standard http site on the mac mini server and do it that way instead.
