Virtual XP Mode withing sysprepped image
I've built a Windows 7 image for use on our student machines, however we have 2 pieces of software that need to run in XP mode. The image is then sysprepped and deployed to our computer suites.
The problem I had initially was that after running through the OOBE and adding it to the domain, the virtual XP instance had been lost.
I've managed to overcome this in part, however after the OOBE, it doesn't seem to keep the XPMuser password for virtual mode, so every user is being prompted for the password when they first run one of these apps.
As we routinely delprof at shutdown (we use local profiles), this means that users are being prompted every time they log on to a machine and access these apps.
Can anyone suggest how this password can be saved in the default user profile so students see a seamless experience?
