    CTL+ALT+Arrow Keys .. Disable?

    Good afternoon EduGeekers.

Right, the kids here have brought back the old favourite CTL+ALT+Arrow keys. I've told the staff the same trick so they can put it back, but I know there used to be a way to disable this, so I thought I'd tap the EduGeek Mass Brain to remind myself exactly how, because my brain isn't functioning today! lol ..

I don't know of an en-masse way offhand (although I'm sure there is, and that it's on here somewhere) but I know you can disable hotkeys in the Intel tray on a computer-by-computer basis.

(now hunting for old thread that mentioned this)

EDIT: oh look. There it is.

    I love you all ..

Now to see if this will work and stop the little darlings!

Shame we can't GPO the little darlings actually with something along the lines of:

    Code:
IF (Little Darling is on or near School Property) THEN disable function:mischief
    lol ..

Here we go. Here is the code for the .adm template

    Code:
    ; ADM Template Creation/Modifying Date: 13:56 08/10/2007
; ADM Template Author: Will Sheldon
    ; ADM Template Filename: Intel_gfx.adm
    ;
    CLASS MACHINE

    CATEGORY "Intel Graphics Features"

POLICY "Graphics card icon appears in systray"
    		KEYNAME "SOFTWARE\INTEL\Display\igfxcui\igfxtray\TrayIcon"
EXPLAIN "If this policy is enabled, the intel tray icon will be visible"
    		VALUENAME "ShowTrayIcon"
             VALUEON NUMERIC 1
             VALUEOFF NUMERIC 0
    	END POLICY

    	POLICY "Graphics card hotkeys"
    		KEYNAME "SOFTWARE\INTEL\Display\igfxcui\HotKeys"
EXPLAIN "If this policy is enabled, the intel hotkeys will be enabled"
    		VALUENAME "Enable"
             VALUEON NUMERIC 1
             VALUEOFF NUMERIC 0
    	END POLICY

    END CATEGORY
I assume you will know how to create the template and import it?

    Thanks
