    block all websites except one

    We have IE 8.
We have a pc in the library that has eclipse .net running on it.
We want to pupils to use the web search function without them searching the web with a normol browser.

Whats the best way to lock this down?

Can't block ie cos eclispe uses that.

IE can only access one website.

Would be better done in group policy if posible rather than through the smoothwall.

Add to approved sites, then turn on parental controls to block all others? Easiest just to log on as admin and set I'd guess?

I think setting the pc up as a location in smoothwall and blockin there is what I would use. You can then enable the hidden sites for book images etc

Set up a fake proxy connection and then list the eclipse.net server in the exceptions. Although this won't work if you use their hosted solution and have to go through a proxy to get to it normally...
