Question Home Drive in My Computer

    Hi All,

In Win XP we used to have a link to the home Drive in My Computer.. in this case it was the Z:/ Drive. I have a been upgrading the network slowly over to Windows 7 and noticed that on the Windows 7 machines this is not the case and there is no Z:\ Drive in My comp. Is there a Group Policy to renable this?

    Thanks

    Dan

    Hi Ben,

The drive is already set in AD as it works for XP. Its just Windows 7 that isn't displaying the Home Drive in My Computer.

Ahhh I have just found it on another Forum why it wasn't working!!

I had a delete all the drives in my logon script... in Windows 7 this deletes the Home Drive link aswell!!

I would recommend you have a look at GPP Drive Maps with Windows 7/2008 R2. I don't use logon scripts anymore
