    One of the new laptops I installed a few weeks ago has this error. It is becoming a major pain.

    ok can't login as administrator as that is disabled. cant login as domain admin due to trust relationship error. only account that lets me in is standard local account. any ideas?

    If you boot into safe mode it should be enabled then.

    no tried that. still disabled. Tried to enable it from cmd prompt and gui.

    This Offline Windows Password & Registry Editor to re-enable the local admin account and wipe its password if required then do the unjoin/rejoin.
