    windows 7 permission denied

Please help! or throw some light on this anyone?

We have windows 7 clients who randomly cannot see \\server\students$ , so it doesnt map their h:\

when logging in as administrator and trying to click start > run \\server4\students$ it tells me access is denied!!!!!!
Administrator is set ffull NTFS permissions + share permisions

yet on the exactl same windows 7 client next to it i can access it ????

    any ideas>?
    ps.s. the server is 2003 r2

doesnt matter / resolved, for some reason 7 likes to have \\server4\users$\students\%username and not \\server4\students$\%username%
very stange im guessing its becuase of the large files /dirs listed in the straight \\server4\students$ possibly.
anyway its now working after a quick change
