Memory card readers
Just noticed that although Windows 7 hides memory card drives when there are no memory cards inserted, it still assigns drive letters even though they are hidden therefore buggering up network drive mappings!
Will USBDLM do the trick if I deploy it via Group Policy?

It probably wont help you but if you go into folder options its possible to show those USB card reader drives - just untick 'Hide empty drives in the computer folder'.

Yup USBDLM is a great tool for them, a lot of our PCs have USB Card Readers in them now so its a great tool for that so it only assigns the letter from my range when a card is plugged in

dosent seem to here i dont remember changing any settings and all my card readers show up whether empty or not
