Offline Files

Im having trouble getting Offline files working with Windows 7 Enterprise. Has anyone else had trouble with getting it to work?

I use folder redirection for my docs etc but i would of thought if so automatically activate offiline files. Ive even set settings in a GPO for the laptop but it still doesn't work!!!

Ive just found a reg hack to re-enable the CSC and after a restart, it works.

REG ADD "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\CSC\Parame ters" /v FormatDatabase /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f

Restart the machine and offline files will then work.

Interesting I've had trouble with offline files and never thought formatting the db would help only normally use that when staff have let others log on to their xp laptops and need to remove them.

Its stupid. I was trying to alter GPOs for at least a day, finally done this and it then starts to work. Its the same on all images i have created so not sure if its got something to do with sysprep.
