<Solved> Windows 7 PC not getting sound to Smartboard

Strange issue with a Teachers Windows 7 PC used for Smartboard work. It was working fine and had sound but now the sound is not playing. In Sounds from the control panel it's not picked up the USB as a device now. I'm positive it was working ok before though. I'm a bit stumped as to where to look next?

Turned out to be a disappeared end of a USB which should have been plugged into the master speaker - hiding somewhere behind the board. Fitted a new USB between the computer and speaker - now have a happy teacher!
