Fix for typing doman for each new user

I am thinking about rolling out Windows7 /Server 2008 in our Primary school, the only problem is that every time a new user logs on they have to type in the domain name. Is there a way round this please?

Yep Group Policy has a windows 7 setting to specify the default domain field basically. It should be machine based.

Why do they have to type a domain name? Once Windows 7 is joined to a domain it defaults to seaching that domain for the logon name. I only have to type something different if I am logging into the local machine.
