Lucida Sans Issue - Font displaying incorrectly(Solution included)

Bit of a strange issue, Lucida Sans on windows 7 displays with bigger gaps above and below in windows 7 than it does in Windows XP, once I replaced the font file with the one from XP the font displayed correctly.

This lead to documents previously written going over 2 pages rather than 1 and looking awful... I'm not sure if other fonts are affected.

Attached pics show how it should look and how it looks on W7 prior to replacing the font.

Is this using Word in particular? Word 2007 onwards has a default (strangely) to leave a 10pt gap between the lines. Did you check this first?

This is using both word 2003 and 2010, all line spacing had been reduced to 0 without any effect.

Lucida Sans is included with Office 2010.

Fonts that are installed with Microsoft Office 2010 Products
