Those of you who are using Windows 7, can you tell me how I can Edit File Types? In Windows XP you could do this by using Windows Explorer: Tools --> Folder Options --> File Types.
The tab seems to have been removed in 7 and search engines have thrown up zilch. The suggested method thus far is to use a 3rd party tool to do the job. Surely this cannot be right?

control panel/default programs/associate a file type or protocol with a program

Unfortunately with that option you're still not able to edit it so that you can input your own commands and have different file types handled differently other than just opening them up.
