Quick update... where are we at with these?

Just wanted to pick the brains of a few of you that have gone to \ going to 7 on the desktop on a few issues I've read about over the past few months... may be solved now?

    • folder redirection, is this working reliably now?
    • redirected Start Menu, same as above
    • mandatory profile, working OK with redirection?

I'm going to hold off until next year at the earliest as I'd rather manage 7 with Server 2008 than 2003, feels like a better "package" to me and also we'd need to re-do all our teaching materials for the likes of ECDL etc as our students are actually learning the system as much as using it

Using folder redirection with roaming profiles here, no issues at all. We dont redirect the start menu, however we deploy shortcuts to the public shortcut menu (deleting the useless stuff also) to get a tidy looking machine.
