    Windows 7 on server 2000

I have a windows 2000 domain controller and want to add a new workstation which will be windows 7 wud rather win xp at moment but cant get one (all others are XP Pro) will the GPO's like Redirected documents, no screensaver/backgrounds, and network maps work or will I have to do something to the server to make the GPO's work on the Win 7 machine?

    Thank you

Certain policies would work, but I'd really consider upgrading to Server 08 R2 as that's much more Windows 7 friendly and more secure.

You really need to upgrade the server to get the GPO's to work, especially the redirection stuff. Support for Windows 2000, including security patches ends on 31st July, so you really are putting your network at risk by running it anyway.
