I have just installed our first windows 7 laptop that is shred between a few different users who already have a working login/profile on other computers and for the most part have got any little bugs sorted out my self but there is one that remains a problem.
When a user logs on to this new laptop it doesn't seem to remember the path to my documents which is stored on the server and doesn't remember their Outlook 2003 details, once they have input this once it's fine but there are about 10 different people using this laptop and I don't want to have to do them all manually and they are not technical enough to do it themselves.
Is this something to do with the user profiles being different in XP and W7 with .v2 extension, may be there is no way around it and it has to be done once manually?
Server 2003 btw
Another thing that has been noticed today is that when a user deletes an item from XP Outlook 2003 then goes on to a W7 Outlook 2003 machine it doesn't seem to be in sync, for instance deleted items from the XP profile still show up on the W7 machine???
More serious now due to this new problem, any clues any one at all?
