Running it on the MSI wind U100 here no problems, shame Microsoft limit the hardware companies to 1gb of ram though.

Another vote for Windows 7 on netbooks. Much nicer than XP or Vista particularly once you have upgraded the RAM to 2GB. I have also fitted a BCM970012 mini-PCIe card to my home Atom N270-based netbook so it can now play 1080p HD videos like butter.

My (original-style) Acer Aspire One used to run the Win 7 betas and RC very nicely with 1.5GB of RAM.

Got a Samsung NC10 running Win 7 pro no issues, the speed is comparable to XP, though at desktop Win 7 uses 700-800mb ram thats the only downside

Does the quickbook spin stand up to kids trying to pick the keys off. This is a major haeadache for us with laptops here. Thinking of using some sort of tablet in future with virtual keyboard.

I think its to do with the resolution of the screen, but might be wrong on that. I know my 10" netbook has the vista green loading bar.
