Thought bootcamp needs a yet unavailable update before it'll properly work with 7.

Worked fine for me using a .sch.uk and I am in the same borough as you.

I have installed Win 7 but managed to skip past when it asked for the license code. Hope it stays that way, any way ofchecking if the version is registered etc?

I couldn't download from digitalriver on Thursday - presumably because of the excessive demand - I dropped them an email saying I was a bit disappointed and they've refunded the entire cost of the order - BONUS!

I am having a nightmere getting this thing, each time I try to create the expanded directory i get an error at some point along the way.

Is there any chance anyone would like to send me the files on disc or an iso of the win7 pro 64bit.

Ive tried at home and now here whilst Ive been busy around the school left the file downloading and it didnt work then tried again and it still says theres an error right at the end. Somthing about not having permission to write to that folder??? Its my c:\ root btw so all should be fine.

Any ideas or have I missed somthing really really stupid?

Have you downloaded and trying to run this on a 32bit OS?, i had the same problem. i just made an iso out of the extracted files using the instructions Theblacksheep gave us on page 6 of this post.

yes, but the error comes from the end of unpacking the files.

Yet ive still got an expanded setup folder of 3.01 GB (3,239,836,668 bytes).

Ill give it a go and make an iso out of this to try when I get home.
