We were an all-Vista school before and at the moment, we're a mix of 7 and Vista - but only because our rollout is still in progress.

By the time the start of term comes around, we aim to be all 7. At least, that is the plan but it's been severely scuppered by HP delivering 300 desktops late....

get an image duplicator. Do 1 image, blitz it across in around 1 min per HD. With W7, you dont need to worry about driver conflicts

Wow sounds good I'd love to Windows 7 all our place, if I wasn't so busy with everything else I'd be putting 7 on to a range of machines to test them out for performance but time is not on my side this holiday, hey maybe at half term

Wow Must admit when I get time (probably an evening job at home ) My work PC will turn to Windows 7 as its going to be easier to manage the 2008 R2 DCs we now have (well one Physical and one VM to start with till I brave reformatting the Evesham beasts with Intel death warnings about non-2008 compatibility.....

Here's a pic of our initial login screen now I've been playing.

That look great, where did you get that initial blank blue background?

From memory I think it came out of the Beta version and originally had a fighting fish on it, but I could be remembering another one I experimented with previously.

I think I have a version after I removed the fish but before I did anything else to it floating around somewhere. If you want a copy to use as a base for your own backgrounds, PM me an email address and I'll bounce it your way.
