    Bluetooth streaming sound playback error

    Hello All,

I have recently begun using Windows 7. Previously I was using Vista Home Premium.

I have a Belkin Bluetooth adapter F8T016 and used to stream music to a bluetooth speaker.

Since installing Windows 7 I cannot stream the music. Initially my Broadcom driver would not connect to the speaker. I therefore installed the Anycom Bluetooth USB2 Vista driver that seems to work.

Now my laptop and speaker connect properly (I can see it is connected in the bluetooth property settings and physically through the 'connected' LED on the speaker.

My problem now is that the device will not playback sound. When I try to perform the 'test' in the audio device properties I get the message "Error: Cannot perform test sound".

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Ben

You're not the only person with issues... Bluetooth full stop seems to have lots of issues in Windows 7

Most people have gotten theirs fixed with reinstalls, disable/enable the device etc

    I'll try that then.

I thought of that, but after installing the virtual machine realised that my chip didn't support the technology. Doh.

    give it full permissions
I'm running as administrator - is there something else I need to do?

    Thanks again,

    Ben
