    I gave up trying to get folder redirection working with Win 7 SP1, as the effort to get it working properly, without random 10 minute black screens on login or random other errors was simply not worth what it got us in the end...

    I might look at it again in summer when I have more time though.

    I've got 56 hotfixes installed on my clients. No problems with folder redirection black screens or logon times. Occasionally a HF/Update causes slight problems, Shell32.dll is the most frustrating as updates through WU keep re-introducing the "folder not updating" bug, so every couple of months I have to find the latest HF that contains it and re-deploy it.
