    User Syncronisation Failed

    Hey Guys

A member of staff has corrupted her user profile, the computers will fail to log her in now. She basically clicked log off and closed her computer lid (putting the machine to sleep when it was trying to log off) do any of you guys know what to do to reset a users profile so it will log her back in again? We use roaming profiles on Windows Server 2008 R2!

    Cheers
    Alex

Depends if it's locally broke or copied back to server (aka do other pcs work still?)

But basically, delete her from the C:\users folder.
    Delete her reg key under
    Code:
     HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
That'll force it to redownload from the server.

But normally we'll delete the one off the server too, just to ensure it remakes a clean one

It seems to be a problem on the server end of things! I have deleted her local profile although it still won't fix it. I have tried deleting her roaming profile but it wouldn't let me as it said I didn't have permissions. So I gained ownership of the folder as administrator and tried deleting it again it then said I need administrator permissions to delete the folder!!! But I am administrator WTF!??? Please help
