    File associations

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious here, however this is my issue:-

I'm wanting to change the file associations for a particular file type on a particular bunch of machines (irrespective of which user logs in).

Setting it as a per user GPP is not an option, as there are other machines I can't have it happening on.

Is there a GPO/GPP/Reg hack that can be run on a per-machine basis to make this happen?

I've trawled through trying to find an appropriate option, but nothing I've tried seems to work.

Never tried, I don't think, but: can you just use group policy processing loopback to apply the user gpp?
