I can't see a way of testing for a generic TPM but you can at least look for a driver for one. Something like

    Code:
    SELECT * FROM Win32_SystemDriver where Caption LIKE '%Trusted Platform%'
would work. Obviously you'd have to change the name to match what your TPMs are called in their drivers but all of ours are called "Trusted Platform Module 1.2" so you'd probably be OK.

In Windows 8/8.1 you can run the PowerShell cmdlet below to check for the presence of a TPM. If there isn't one it will return FALSE.

    Code:
    (Get-Tpm).TpmPresent
Another option would be to check the computers model. For example, if you know that all of your Latitude E Series laptops have a TPM, you could use a query like this...

    Code:
SELECT model FROM Win32_ComputerSystem WHERE model LIKE "Latitude E%"
Or if you have multiple models...

    Code:
SELECT manufacturer, model FROM Win32_ComputerSystem WHERE manufacturer LIKE "Dell%" AND (model LIKE "Latitude D%" OR model LIKE "Latitude E%")
